Crystal Meaning Guide
Thoughtful details, clear answers, and a little more of the world behind each piece.
ASTRÉ / Crystal Meaning Guide
Stones, stories, and the meaning you choose.
Across cultures and generations, stones have been given symbolic meanings inspired by their colour, rarity and connection to the natural world. At ASTRÉ, we treat these associations as personal prompts—small reminders of an intention you may wish to carry.
Crystal meanings are based on tradition and contemporary symbolism. They are not scientific or medical claims, and no physical, emotional or therapeutic result is promised.

Four palettes, each shaped by colour, texture and natural variation.
Rose Quartz
Tenderness · Connection · Compassion
Known for its soft blush tones, rose quartz is traditionally associated with affection, emotional warmth and gentleness toward oneself and others.
Moonstone
Intuition · New beginnings · Softness
With its milky glow and shifting light, moonstone has long symbolised cycles, inner listening and the quiet confidence to begin again.
Clear Quartz
Clarity · Focus · Intention
Transparent and luminous, clear quartz is commonly linked with clarity and the act of bringing attention back to what matters most.
Amethyst
Calm · Reflection · Balance
Amethyst’s lavender-to-violet colour has made it a traditional symbol of composure, reflection and creating a little more space around a busy mind.
Citrine
Optimism · Confidence · Abundance
Warm golden citrine is often associated with sunlight, forward movement and an open, generous approach to possibility.
Tiger’s Eye
Courage · Discernment · Grounding
Recognised by its bands of amber and brown, tiger’s eye traditionally represents steady confidence, practical judgement and grounded action.
Sodalite
Truth · Communication · Perspective
Deep blue sodalite is associated with honest expression, thoughtful communication and seeing a situation with greater perspective.
Apatite
Expression · Motivation · Openness
Blue and green apatite is often used as a symbol of curiosity, clear expression and renewed motivation toward a meaningful goal.
Moss Agate
Growth · Patience · Renewal
Its natural, landscape-like inclusions have made moss agate a symbol of gradual growth, patience and feeling connected to the earth.
Smoky Quartz
Stability · Release · Presence
Ranging from translucent taupe to deep brown, smoky quartz is traditionally connected with steadiness, presence and letting go of what no longer serves.
How to choose your piece
There is no single correct way to choose a stone. You may be drawn first to a colour, a texture, a product name or a meaning that reflects the season you are in. Choose the piece that feels natural to carry—not the one you think you are supposed to choose.
Because many stones are naturally formed, variations in shade, pattern, translucency and small inclusions are expected. These differences are not flaws; they are part of what makes every ASTRÉ chain subtly individual.
Caring for mixed-stone chains
ASTRÉ chains combine different materials, so follow our Jewelry Care guidance rather than soaking or cleansing individual stones. Use the dry cloth supplied in your box, avoid chemicals and moisture, and store the chain flat and protected.
