Every ASTRÉ phone chain is assembled by hand from a considered mix of stones, glass or crystal-style beads, cord and metal details. A little regular care will help preserve its clarity, colour and finish.

Your complimentary care cloth
A special soft cleaning cloth is included with every order. After wearing your chain, gently pass the dry cloth over each bead and metal detail to remove fingerprints, skin oils and light surface dust. Use light pressure and support the chain in your other hand—do not pull the beads against the cord. Keep the cloth clean and dry, and do not add polish, alcohol or cleaning solution.

After each wear
Wipe the full chain with the included cloth before returning it to its pouch or box. Pay gentle attention to the spaces between beads and around the attachment cord, where residue can collect. Make sure the piece is completely dry before storage.

Keep it away from moisture and chemicals
Remove your chain before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping. Avoid direct contact with perfume, lotion, sunscreen, hand sanitiser, hairspray and household cleaners. Salt water, chlorine, prolonged sweat and repeated moisture may affect the cord, bead surfaces and metal finish.
Never soak the chain or place it in an ultrasonic, steam or jewellery-cleaning machine. Because every piece contains mixed materials, dry and gentle care is always the safest method.

Handle the chain softly
Avoid dropping the chain onto hard surfaces, pulling it by individual beads or placing heavy objects on top of it. When picking it up, support the cord and beaded loop together. Inspect the attachment cord regularly and stop using the chain if you notice fraying, stretching or damage.
Attach it only to a compatible phone case with a dedicated side charm opening near the mute/volume area or a purpose-made bottom opening. Never thread it through a speaker grille or charging port. The chain is a decorative wristlet and carrying aid; always support your phone securely.

Store it flat and protected
Lay the chain flat in its ASTRÉ pouch or box, away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity. Store it separately from keys, metal jewellery and rough surfaces that may scratch the beads. Do not leave the chain hanging under tension for long periods, and avoid tightly folding or twisting the cord.
